Carmela Daybed Single Bed 90×200 – Timeless elegance and retro style in a child’s bedroom

Are you looking for a piece of furniture that combines exceptional style with long-lasting functionality? The Carmela Daybed single bed is a unique design created for children who need a comfortable, safe and stylish place to sleep, play and relax.

Designed in a trendy vintage and cottage style, it captivates with its idyllic, airy look and impeccable craftsmanship. By doing away with a high headboard, the daybed version visually enlarges the space and fits brilliantly into the bedroom of both a younger schoolchild and a discerning teenager.

A classic little sofa – a design that will grow with your child

The biggest advantage of the Carmela Daybed is its versatile, low-profile design. You’re investing in a timeless piece of furniture that adapts perfectly to the changing needs of your growing child:

A relaxation area during the day: Thanks to its decorative side and back panels featuring stylish slats, this piece of furniture easily transforms into an elegant daybed during the day. Simply add a few soft cushions to create a cosy corner for reading or relaxing.
Full-size comfort at night: The 90×200 cm sleeping surface guarantees your child maximum freedom and a healthy, restful sleep from pre-school age right through to their teenage years.

Create your perfect bed – practical optional extras

The Carmela Daybed has been designed as a modular system. You can expand the basic version at any time with dedicated accessories from the same collection:

Portable safety rail (optional extra): Safety first when teaching your child to sleep on their own. If your little one needs extra protection against falling out of bed, you can purchase a dedicated safety rail. Most importantly, it’s fully portable – you decide where to place it! It can be easily fitted to the left or right-hand side of the bed frame, and can be completely removed later without leaving any marks.
2-in-1 multifunctional drawer (optional extra): This pull-out drawer on wheels is a masterpiece of space optimisation. Thanks to its reinforced construction, it can be used as a deep storage compartment for bedding and toys OR – with the addition of an extra mattress – as a full-size extra bed, ideal for siblings or when guests stay over.

Retro details and a fashionable colour palette

The Carmela bed has been meticulously crafted down to the last detail, reflecting an exclusive, classic style:

Unique legs and rungs: The hallmarks of this collection – beautifully tapered tall legs and delicate, rounded rungs – lend the entire structure a sense of visual lightness and a subtle retro feel.
A stunning range of colours to choose from: The furniture is available in four carefully selected matt shades that fit perfectly with contemporary interior design trends:
- Cashmere – an incredibly fashionable, warm and elegant beige that exudes a sense of luxurious tranquillity.
- Sage – a delicate, natural and calming shade of green, ideal for forest-style or boho-style interiors.
- White – classic, timeless and perfect for brightening up a room.
- Grey – versatile, elegant and incredibly easy to style.
Safe materials: The bed is made from premium-grade pine and MDF. All edges have been carefully rounded, and the surface is coated with safe, certified and hypoallergenic water-based varnishes.
