Scope of warranty exclusions

The guarantee does not cover situations and damage resulting from the following causes:

1. Defects visible upon receipt.
Defects, deficiencies or mechanical damage that could be seen at the time of delivery of the goods are not covered by the guarantee.

2. Incorrect use or assembly.
Damage caused by incorrect use, incorrect assembly or transport carried out by the customer itself is not subject to complaint.

3. improper care and storage conditions.
The guarantee does not cover damage caused by humidity, too high or too low a temperature, or mechanical damage resulting from improper maintenance or the use of inappropriate cleaning agents.

4. Independent alterations or repairs.
Any interference with the construction of the furniture (repairs, modifications, alterations) carried out by the purchaser or third parties at the purchaser's request shall render the guarantee null and void.
Custom-made goods are not returnable.

5. Natural wood changes*.
Pine wood is subject to natural processes - oxidation and the influence of light, which can cause shade changes. In the case of white furniture, slight discolouration is possible due to the natural structure of the wood, visibility of knots or grain.

6. Inappropriate storage conditions.
We are not liable for damage resulting from storing the furniture in conditions which deviate from the recommendations (e.g. too high humidity or low temperature).

7. Visual differences.
Slight differences in furniture colour, shade, knot pattern and grain are a natural effect of the wood and are not grounds for complaint.
Similarly, minor discrepancies in appearance may be due to monitor screen settings.

8. Wood characteristics.
Knots, natural 'blemishes' and variations in the structure of the wood are features of the material and confirm its authenticity, and are therefore not considered defects.

9. invisible structural elements.
Invisible parts, such as drawer bottoms, frames or support boards, may not be painted to the same extent as the outer surfaces of the furniture.

10Principles of assembly.
Tighten screws and bolts carefully and slowly to avoid cracking the wood. Do not place fittings too close to the edges of the elements.

* Yellowing around knots in white lacquered pine is the result of the migration of resin and wood extracts through the lacquer coating. This is a natural physico-chemical phenomenon of the wood and will occur when using eco-friendly water-based varnishes. The knots in pine wood contain a lot of resin, tannins and extracts. These compounds are yellow-brown in colour and migrate through the varnish layers over time, especially when exposed to heat, moisture and UV rays. Even if the wood is well dried, the resin in the knots remains chemically active. Over time, when exposed to temperature, it softens and starts to penetrate the varnish. The white varnish is generally semi-transparent or not fully opaque on a micro scale, so contaminants from inside the wood start to show as yellowish stains. This effect is exacerbated by UV rays, which can cause oxidation of the resins and further yellowing.

👉 Attention: Complained items should be marked and named according to the furniture assembly instructions.

Please indicate the elements on the furniture drawing or the list of elements available in the instructions.

Then attach a photo/scan of these pages to the claim in order to avoid misunderstandings and to speed up its processing.

Please also include photos of the items advertised and photos of the labels affixed to the carton .
